Browser extension
When you click "Audit this page", the extension asks permission to read that one site, then fetches the page, its robots.txt and its llms.txt directly from that site, the way an AI crawler would. The analysis runs entirely in your browser. The extension sends nothing to getcited or SCAIROS, has no analytics, no accounts and no remote code, and stores no browsing history.
Command-line tool, GitHub Action and local MCP server
These run on your machine or your CI runner and talk only to the sites you audit and, if you configure one, the AI model provider you choose with your own key. No telemetry.
Hosted MCP server and JSON API
When you call www.scairos.com/api/getcited, our server fetches the public URLs you send and returns the analysis. We do not store your requests or results beyond standard hosting logs (IP address, time, path), which our host keeps for operations and security and which we use only for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We never accept model API keys on the hosted service and never fetch private network addresses.
Paid services
If you buy AI Search Testing or another SCAIROS service, the data you share with us is used only to deliver that service. Payments are processed by Gumroad or Stripe; we do not see your full card details.
